Working principle

When the ultrasonic waves pass through suspended particles, they attenuate due to the scattering and absorption of suspended particles. The attenuation of ultrasonic waves in sludge or solid suspensions is related to the concentration of sludge or solid suspensions in the liquid. By measuring the attenuation value of ultrasonic waves, the concentration of sludge or solid suspensions can be calculated.
